The MassHire South Shore Workforce Board is operated within the administration of the City of Quincy Workforce Development Department under Mayor Thomas P. Koch, who is the Chief Elected Official.
The MassHire South Shore Workforce Board works in collaboration with the MassHire South Shore Career Center to create connections with local businesses, educational institutions and community partners ensuring the alignment of strategic, market-driven workforce goals and initiatives to support the 22 cities and town with the region.
The MassHire South Shore Workforce Board is one of sixteen Development Boards across the Commonwealth, which work in collaboration with twenty-nine “One-Stop” independently operated Career Centers.
