One of the largest redevelopment projects in the northeast is the conversion of the former 1200 acre US Naval base into a vibrant mixed-use development.

New Quincy Center, Quincy

New Quincy Center is among the largest urban revitalization efforts in Massachusetts, encompassing a total of more than 50 acres of mixed-use development in the heart of one of America’s most historic cities.

The dramatic mix of housing, commercial space and a vibrant retail and restaurant scene is already taking shape with new residences and restaurants opening throughout the past year.  A new world-class park, the Hancock-Adams Green between the historic First Parish Church and Old City Hall provides the civic foundation.  Projects under construction include a 48 unit luxury condominium building with 8,000 sqft. of commercial space and a 171 unit apartment complex with 27,000 sqft of retail space.

Cordage Commerce Center, Plymouth

Located on Route 3A in North Plymouth Cordage Park is a 1.4M mixed-use waterfront development that offers an existing fully-occupied 350,000 sf of unique creative loft office space, 204 apartments and up to 23,000 sf of office retail.  The prospective phase 3 development will include an expanded marina, waterfront condos, additional restaurants and incredible views.

The 55-acre waterfront property was the former home of the Plymouth Cordage Company, which was the largest manufacturer of rope and twine.  The site also includes a hiking/biking trail link to Downtown Plymouth, access to the waterfront, public bus service and a MBTA commuter rail stop with direct access to Boston.

The Landing, Braintree and Weymouth

The Braintree/Weymouth Landing commercial area is a unique business district along Route 53, which is shared by both communities.  The recent introduction of a MBTA Commuter Rail Station and a coordinated planning effort by both communities, which includes new zoning and infrastructure investments, has resulted in new commercial investment in the area.

One such project is Landing 53 transit orientated residential development, which includes 172 apartment units and 11,000 sqft. of retail.  The project is scheduled for completion to be ready for leasing in early 2018.
