MASSHIRE SOUTH SHORE CAREER CENTER

The MassHire Department of Career Services oversees a network of 32 Career Centers across the State designed to help businesses find qualified workers, and provide job seekers career guidance and referrals to employment and training opportunities.

MassHire South Shore is located in Quincy, which provide a wide array of free employment-related services for businesses and job seekers. Whether employed or unemployed, an individual is welcome to access the free services and resources offered by these Career Centers.

The variety of free services include computer resources, internet access, career counseling, training opportunities, workshops, job placement, veteran’s services, access to unemployment insurance, business services, labor market information and migrant farm worker services.

Businesses in the region have access to free workforce recruitment services including job listings, training assistance and placement services.  Business Service Representatives are available at both Career Centers, and provide quality workforce development programs and resources to the South Shore business community in support of regional economic growth.

The location and hours of the Quincy Career Center are listed below, however, please make note of the following when planning your visit.

The Unemployment Insurance Navigation Services are available at the Quincy location only. The Resource Room closes PRIOR to the Career Center.

Our Unemployment Navigation services closes promptly at 3:30 pm in order to complete unemployment processing for the day. You can contact the unemployment department at 617-626-6800 or visit the unemployment site at www.mass.gov/dua for more information.

Our Resource Area closes 15 minutes prior to close of the career center.
